Solihull Moors have confirmed their second loan departure in 12 hours, as defender Fiacre Kelleher has been recalled by League Two side Bradford City. This is due to the club accepting a permanent offer from a currently unnamed EFL League Two side.
Since returning for his second spell in the summer, Kelleher has impressed at the back and has stepped up when Callum Howe was out on the sidelines. He formed a strong partnership with Alex Gudger at the back.
Across his two loan spells, Kelleher made a total of 65 appearances for Solihull Moors, scoring three goals and was popular amongst the majority of the clubs fans and his departure will be felt. This is the second confirmed departure after Wolves loanee Louie Moulden returned to the Premier League side, following the conclusion of his loan spell.
This places even more pressure on a rather small and stretched Solihull Moors side, who are currently down in 11th place in the National League and have won just twice since mid-October.
We now await to see whether Kelleher will be immediately replaced by the club, before their FA Trophy match against Barnet or whether we will have to remain waiting for reinforcements,
Thank you Fiacre for everything and best of luck in the future!
